Haus Party: Vector Brewing to Host Oktoberfest Celebration on Saturday
If you’re looking to shop, eat, drink or polka dance, Vector Brewing is the place to be this Saturday.
HausFe3st, the brewery’s version of Oktoberfest, is back for the third year in a row. In addition to beers in collectible mugs, there will be 31 local restaurants and shops on vendor stands until 5 p.m. , and the blues rock group Desabelle will follow them from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The brewery is promoting four of its own beers at the event: a marzen, a weissbier, a helles and a doppelbock. On the inside, more beers from the brewery are available on tap, as are a range of ciders and meads. There will also be activities for kids, including free face painting from 1 to 4 p.m., a dachshund parade at 3 p.m., and games on the lawn.
Admission to the event is free, but limited-edition mugs are $20. Refills in the mug are available for $5.
Craig and Veronica Bradley opened Vector Brewing in April 2020. Despite being established at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the brewery has survived. Vector focuses on brewing classic beer styles, as well as wild fermentation and barrel aging. They also serve sourdough pizza and wine.
