Rebekah Vardy will celebrate her 40th birthday after scrapping earlier plans due to Wagatha defamation case
REBEKAH Vardy is ready to throw a delayed 40th birthday party after the Wagatha affair hits her original plans.
She was busy preparing for her libel suit with Coleen Rooney when the big day passed in February.
Her husband, Premier League ace Jamie, 35, hosted a more private party with just a handful of pals.
Rebekah said: “I think I really had Vardy’s real resting bitch face on my 40th.
“Jamie, bless him, was like ‘we’re having a party’. I was like ‘I hate surprises’.
“I’m the worst person in the world for surprises, they make me feel uncomfortable.
“He organized this beautiful meeting not far from our home with all my close friends and we had a very good dinner on Sunday with all the children.
“And you know what? I couldn’t have asked for better.
“We might have a big party soon though.”
She did not go into the details of the party.
Former party planner Rebekah met Jamie while planning a party for her 27th birthday in Sheffield in 2014.
Last week, Rebekah opened up about the mental strain she faced during the Wagatha case.
She receives up to 100 threatening messages a day and says, “People pass me on the street and say, ‘You are disgusting, a rat, a troll’.”
