SACRED WATER BREWING COMPANY of Kalispell won five awards at the 1st Denver International Beer Competition on October 16. The local brewery won a gold medal for its Bull Trout Coffee Stout and silver medals for four other beers: Deep Waters Double IPA, Meadow Creek Amber, Lil ‘Salmon Fire Pepper Ale, and Party Hat sour aged on tap. Sacred Waters drinks were selected from 800 beers made by more than 300 competing breweries.

EMILY MADIEROS, graduated from senior year one at Glacier High School in 2009, graduated from Carroll College and graduated with an MBA from Lindenwood University, became the new owner of Velvet Bride, a bridal boutique in downtown Missoula . She has been active as a wedding and event planner for the past five years in the Flathead Valley and around the state of Montana. She now lives in Missoula.


• DR. BLAKE SAMPSON joined Dermatology Associates as a supplier in their Kalispell clinic.

Sampson is a board certified dermatologist and member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. His areas of interest include Mohs micrographic surgery, facial reconstruction, cosmetic and procedural dermatology, and high risk skin cancer.
